About Me.

I'm Emma, the heart and hands behind this service. With over 20 years of experience in care, I’ve dedicated my life to helping others. Caring for people isn’t just a job for me; it’s a passion. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals from all walks of life, providing the support and companionship they need to live comfortably and independently in their own homes.

My journey in care began over two decades ago, and alongside this, I’ve also had the rewarding experience of working as a Teaching Assistant at a special school. This role taught me patience, empathy, and the importance of understanding each person’s unique needs. And for your peace of mind, I am fully DBS checked and insured.

I’ve lived in Plymouth for 25 years, and it’s here that I’ve raised my four wonderful children and now enjoy the joys of being a grandmother. Family means the world to me, and this is reflected in the care I provide. I understand how important it is to trust someone who will care for your loved ones with the same dedication and kindness that you would.

At Emma’s Errands, I offer a range of home help services designed to make life easier and more enjoyable for you or your loved ones. Whether you need assistance with transportation, household chores, cleaning, or just someone to run errands, I’m here to help. My goal is to provide the support you need to maintain your independence while ensuring your home is a safe and comfortable place to be.
